Advanced Professional Certificates

Many students enter The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University to pursue a new career direction, building upon their life experience earned in other professions. Career changers find educational resources and support at AIB to guide them as they move into a new profession. These students are of varied ages and backgrounds, but they share one thing in common: a keen desire to learn and to make the most of the opportunities for learning found at The Art Institute of Boston.

The Advanced Professional Certificate is a two-year studio intensive program in animation, design, or illustration. The curriculum is designed for students who already have a Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS, or BFA in any major) and wish to pursue a professional career as an illustrator, designer, or animator. Students with no previous art experience may take required foundation prerequisites before or concurrent with the program.
